TemplateFreak.com offers affordable path to e-commerce

Can a 23 year old wunderkind, who started his first e-commerce firm at 14, have the right Web site template for your company? John Lemp says he does and launched TemplateFreak with the SMB's in mind. Lemp states, "TemplateFreak.com was created as a solution for smaller businesses and it provides access to high quality designs, which would typically cost $1,000 or more, at a price range of $15 to $50.  We not only put a large emphasis on cost but also on quality, uniqueness and with all of our designers having a background in marketing--marketing and usability."

According to Lemp, "TemplateFreak.com, a division of IntegraClick Inc., offers a new way for small businesses, personal Web site owners, and Web designers to develop a presence online with a price range varying from $15 to $50; and even the smallest of budgets have been considered."

Web site owners will no longer have to rely on custom Web development, but rather on customizing previously developed applications. Calling it e-commerce "coming of age", the company hires professional Web design firms to create template designs which are then paid for by TemplateFreak and displayed on the site where users can purchase them at a low cost.

The company says this method essentially distributes the cost of a Web site design over a number of people. Currently, Google alone indexes over 4 billion web pages. And so, even in the most niche area, it is unusual that a user will run into the same design twice, even if its cost has been "shared" among 10 or 12 separate firms. The number of firms buying from TemplateFreak has also been limited as new designs are placed in prominent spots on the site daily, showcasing the newest ones first.

Although he would not identify current users of the product, Lemp says TemplateFreak's sole purpose is to give businesses with very little startup capital a professional look and a much greater opportunity to compete in today's Internet market.
